Immediate opening for qualified Consultant/ technical accountant based in Luxembourg on a permanent or interim basis

We are service provider company with 3 business lines: business advisory, fiduciary and family office. Human sized and client oriented. We are growing through delivering quality mainly to banks, private equity, real estate, ManCos and holding companies.

We are looking for professionals to join our team on a permanent, temprorary/ independent basis.

Missions

• Business advisory
‐ Accounting and consolidation advisory and outsourcing services (IFRS, GAAP conversion, Consolidation, Fast Close, Accounting change, System implementation…)
‐ Regulatory advisory services (e.g. AIFMD, EMIR, BASEL III…)
‐ Financial advisory services (transactions, management reporting…)
‐ Financial reporting and operational support and outsourcing services
‐ Accounting opinions
‐ Financial statements compilation
‐ Operational set up, optimization and excellence
‐ Policies and procedures
‐ Project management and business requirements
‐ Internal audit and compliance support
‐ Launch and set up support for banks, funds and corporates

• Accounting & Financial Reporting:
‐ Preparation of accounting, tax and financial reporting packages
‐ Liaison with external auditors and preparation of audit support information
‐ Performing research on technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos addressing specific transactions
‐ Drafting complex financial statements and disclosures
‐ Communicating effectively and clearly with the clients to deal with any questions or queries related to the accounts
‐ Prepare LUX GAAP and IFRS compliant financial statements
‐ Design and implement consolidation instructions and reporting packages in multi-currency environment- Post key consolidation adjustments- Participate in purchase price allocation and impairment testing processes
‐ Prepare, review and manage inter-company account reconciliation
‐ Review reporting packages for accuracy and completeness
‐ Prepare consolidated financial statements


Candidate profile

‐ Academic qualification in Finance and Accounting. CPA qualification or equivalent is an advantage
‐ A minimum of 2+ years prior work experience as auditor/consultant/ specialized accountant, ideally in a Big 4 Audit firm or in a fiduciary
‐ Knowledge of IFRS, consolidation and financial instruments. Knowledge of Lux GAAP is an advantage
‐ Demonstrated interests in technical and complex financial accounting matters
‐ Fluency in French and English
‐ Proactive, result-oriented and quality-driven
‐ Demonstrated client service skills
‐ Proven communication and presentation skills
‐ Hands-on doer and team worker
‐ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
