Location: London - Rate: £500-£800/day

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quant Developer to be one of the first hires into a really exciting FinTech that already have a very well established client base.

The company are a well-funded venture set up to allow major financial institutions reduce their counterparty risk, by doing so having an impact on the risk level across the financial system.

In a time of ever tightening risk related regulations, the ability to reduce the impact of legislation such as MIFID2 and allow firms to remain in a state of growth rather than protection is massively in demand. This individual could have a real impact in shaping how Tier 1 firms leverage risk and provide an invaluable service to major clients.

The Role:

This is an opportunity for a seasoned C++/Python developer to join as a lead developer and receive a lot of autonomy in terms of technology and methodology.

You’ll be joining in continuously developing innovative and transformational approaches that not only reduce risk in the system but drive significant capital and operational benefits for banks and their clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Quant Developer position in either a Front Office environment or counterparty risk management or market risk.

Although C++ and Python are prioritised, experience in functional languages is also advantageous, and a pragmatic approach to choosing technologies is a plus.

·         Experience gathering requirements and constructing viable and efficient solutions
