Head of Software Development (m/f)

THE JOB

Reporting to the Head of Technology, the Head of Software Development manages a team of 15 developers and handles the following key responsibilities:

• Defines, prioritises, plans and delivers all software,
• Manages capacity in line with business needs,
• Oversees the whole development life-cycle, including transition from development to maintenance,
• Owns the budget,
• Leads, manages, develops and grows the team,
• Defines and applies software development quality standards,
• Acts as relationship manager with the business, keeps them informed and engaged in development process and progress.

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE

• A strong software development background with an interesting in keeping up to date,
• Master or PhD level,
• Extensive development management and line management experience,
• Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and tools,
• Experience of javascript frameworks,
• Project management skills, ideally with a mix of concrete experience in traditional and agile methodologies,
• Team player with a constructive mindset and strong communication skills,
• Strong leader with personal drive to elevate teams engagement and performance,
• Fluent in French and English,
• Experience of financial services a big plus.
