Technical Business Analyst
  • Create technical requirements documentation, including: Requirements Specifications (Software, Interface, Middleware), Technical Design Documentation, Source To Target Mappings, multi-level detailed Data Flow Documents, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Document data flow requirements flow and ETL logic needed to accomplish inter-system data sharing, reporting, or dashboarding
  • Adapt to and learn the Bank’s software and reporting tools that support both pipeline and credit services
  • Adapt technical designs to the functional requirements and business use cases
  • Manage multiple, concurrent streams of production support and project specific work
  • Lead design workshops that involve eliciting technical requirements
  • Design systems, solution, or processes that solve real business problems
  • Actively liaise between business and technical teams to achieve project and production support goals
  • Interact with teams with varying business and technical skill sets – both internal and external (contactor or vendor)
  • Develop comprehensive end to end test cases
  • Execute testing at the data, interface, and application levels to confirm data and reporting are designed to spec
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc root cause analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time issues
  • Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on system performance relative to the business process
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved system requirements, or revising procedures
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • Drive project delivery from project inception through to deployment and post production support
  • Operate in an agile environment with scrum teams actively managing a backlog
  • Utilize industry standard project and work management software
  • Participate in Credit Delivery related projects and provide subject matter expertise and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Technical business analysis experience required
  • Banking/Financial Services experience preferred
  • Detailed-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and communicate actionable insights from research findings
  • Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills 
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple teams and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to obtain, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong proficiency in the use of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio) for reports, analysis, and presentations
  • Six Sigma / Lean experience preferred

  • Know when to stay focused on objectives and when divergent discussion is productive and valuable
  • Capture and distribute meeting minutes and action items
  • Assist other TCB team members with understanding
