Job Description:
The Leveraged Debt Capital Markets ("LDCM") Analytics team is looking to add an Associate level banker with credit experience to the Jacksonville platform. In addition to a credit background, they are seeking a candidate with strong communication skills, the capacity to multi-task and the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated, display initiative, work independently with minimal oversight and possess the ability to work well under pressure. In keeping with Deutsche Bank values, the candidate will also be disciplined and of high integrity. Lastly, the candidate will possess a proven track record of coaching analyst level colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial performance of a portfolio of highly leveraged companies with the goal of attaining in-depth credit knowledge
  • Prepare detailed annual credit memoranda on companies identifying strengths and challenges
  • Spread quarterly financial results of clients and update ongoing credit analysis
  • Assess individual company future adherence to credit agreement terms
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant credit agreements
  • Keep abreast of industry trends related to portfolio of companies
  • Maintain a dialogue, along with Senior LDCM Analytics member, with client counterparts on Agented transactions
  • Prepare complex financial models developed to project future credit performance and identify asset valuation
  • Assess whether a lending relationship furthers the objectives of the firm
  • Follow market developments
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Credit Risk Management on a regular basis to maintain a proactive view of clients' performance
  • Identify\/generate financing and banking opportunities based on client knowledge and refer to DB product partners
  • Take an active role in ad hoc projects for senior management

  • Bachelor degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • MBA\/Masters or prior investment banking expertise preferred
  • Certified: Series 79 and 63 preferred
