We are actively looking to hire a Human Resources Relationship Manager (HRRM) to join the Human Resources team responsible for providing HR leadership across Wellington's investment platform. The HRRM will be a key HR resource to our investment departments working closely with the dynamic and high energy leadership team on strategy and all aspects of talent management.  The role is based in Boston and will work closely with the other team members in our global offices to address develop and execute an HR strategy consistent with business goals.

The Manager will act as a consultant to investment line management on a wide variety of HR issues. These will include but are not limited to internal consulting with managers and employees, staff planning, employee relations, diversity and inclusion and organizational design.   In addition, the Manager will be involved on a wide variety of cross-functional HR issues, including, compensation analyses, collaboration strategic initiatives, global mobility, succession planning, etc.

In particular, the Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Provide HR consulting to management teams. The HRM will help facilitate and develop both short and long-term people strategies for an investment function.
• Act as a coach to managers for employee relations issues, compensation issues (during mid and year-end cycle), and staffing decisions, as needed. This includes working with managers to identify issues before they become problems, and to develop necessary interventions/programs to resolve.
• Partner with HR and business colleagues to support a startup investment science group designed to bring data analytics, cutting edge risk management tools and practices, knowledge management systems and a training program to the investment community within the firm. 
• Develop talent strategies designed to increase diversity and inclusion within the client department partnering with line management to implement them through all aspects of the talent life cycle. 
• Act as a resource to employees for questions and concerns.
• Assist employees with career development and career progression issues.


Candidates should have a minimum of 5-10 years of Human Resource experience.  Other qualifications include:

• Demonstrated consulting skills and outstanding strategic thinking and decision-making skills, strong analytical and problem- solving skills and a customer focused mind set
• Background in organizational development is a plus
• Analytical, proficient with excel and data manipulation
• Master's degree preferred
