Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Associate within the Investment Management Division (IMD)'s Corporate Controllers team, with a focus on Asset-Based Fee Revenue Reporting and Investment Management divisional expenses. Provide daily, weekly and monthly profit & loss reports to Senior Management, Divisional Management & Financial Reporting. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including analysis of assets, P&L drivers and divisional expenses for internal and external reporting, such as the Firm's earnings release and 10-Q and 10-K reporting. Collaborate with the Finance & Strategy teams to ensure proper understanding and reporting of asset-based fees and divisional expenses. Reconcile fee payables and receivables. Perform month-end postings and reconciliations to the general ledger. Engage in ad hoc analyses of revenue and expense trends. Assist with IT developments to facilitate process automation improvements.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have two and a half (2.5) years of experience with: financial reporting under U.S. GAAP; accounting, reporting and analysis of fee-based revenues & accruals; financial control infrastructure and control risk assessments in a complex environment; performing month-end and quarter-end procedures and/or various testing on month-end and quarter-end procedures including posting of revenues, expenses and balance sheet with respect to the Firm's general ledger; performing variance analysis testing of private wealth products to ensure accurate posting of revenues, accruals and expenses to a firm's general ledger; leverage knowledge and auditing experience of Sarbanes-Oxley rules and requirements to enhance existing controls and processes; liaising with external legal consultants in preparation of disclosure on a fund's financial statements.
