IT/IS Policy and Standards Senior Analyst

The IT / IS - Policy and Standards Senior Analyst is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and updates of Information Technology and Information Security policies, and standards to ensure compliance with Security & Risk requirements. This individual will report directly to the IT / IS Policy and Standards Framework lead.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying gaps where additional policies and standards need to be created
  • Standardizing and normalizing content; identify SMEs and owners
  • Developing implementation plans and timelines
  • Instituting socialization and communications plan
  • Performing annual recertifications and updates of existing policies and standards

This individual requires strong personal, communication and organizational skills as they will be working closely with technology stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA preferred
  • Broad risk management and/or consulting experience
  • Understanding of key industry control frameworks (NIST Cyber Security Framework, COSO, COBIT, ISO 27000, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems architecture, infrastructure, security and applications
  • Ability to interpret and understand IS policies and standards
  • Ability to propose recommendations as appropriate
  • Ability to execute against the Policy and Standards strategy
