Lead Performance Assurance Engineer

JobDescription :
Key Roles & Responsibilities* PERFORMANCE ENGINEER (LEAD I) :
Ø Demonstrated hands-on experience on end-to-end application development life cycle
Ø Advanced understanding of LoB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design
Ø Collaborate with business and IT to understand performance testing requirements
Ø Develop performance test plan/test scenarios, specifying approach, strategy, architecture, environment, roles and responsibilities
Ø Evaluate performance testing and engineering areas for improvement and recommend solutions
Ø Advanced understanding of best practices and company policies when selecting methods and techniques
Ø Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
Ø Experience with commercial & open-source tools
Ø Expertise with multiple performance testing & server monitoring tools in the market
Ø Expertise in numerous protocols(web, webservices, ajax, true client, etc.) & technology trends
Ø Provide inputs to build performance test environment
Ø Continuously monitor trends, participates in the evaluation of future technologies and makes recommendations for service, software and hardware upgrades.
Functional and Business Knowledge*
Ø Has in-depth knowledge of QA and metrics architecture processes.

Problem Solving*
Ø Solve complex, non-routine problems and determine the best solution through cost/benefit analysis .
Ø Determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments .
Ø Provide oversight when needed.

Interactions*
Ø Work w ith other teams as a lead and/or member .
Ø Create formal networks involving coordination among groups .

Ø Contribute to the achievement of team and QA and Metrics Architecture objectives .
Ø Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation .

Minimum and Preferred Education
Ø Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent IT degree OR relevant work experience; Master's preferred

Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills
Ø 5-8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication
