For our Securities Services branch in Frankfurt am Main we are looking for a

Senior Technical Sales – Market & Financing Services

The purpose of the role is to develop and promote BNP Paribas Securities Services’ Markets & Financing (MFS) business for Agency & Principal Securities Lending, Foreign Exchange, Passive Currency Overlay, Cash Management and Execution Services with our client base in Germany. The incumbent will work in tandem with local client development/FIC teams, local and global trading teams, MFS structuring, client management teams and senior management teams. This will entail maximising the generation of new business sourced from clients and prospects in Germany focusing on:

  • Prospects identified providing product, RFP and engagement support
  • Existing clients in BNP Paribas identified via ongoing analysis of their portfolios, investment activities and planned activities (e.g. transitions)
  • Representing MFS in client industry seminars, conferences and events, including speaking or press opportunities where appropriate
  • Ongoing engagement and training with the CIB client development/FIC teams and actively promoting MFS products internally and externally
  • Sales initiatives and campaign

 
Requirements & Skills:

  • Degree qualified in mathematics, science, German or business related vocation
  • Experience with complex sales, with a proven track record within the German market and existing market contacts
  • Strong experience in Capital Markets/ALMT products, as well as in sales support ideally via a trading role
  • Experience of the securities services industry
  • CPA, CFA, IMC preferred
  • Ability to assess business/new product opportunities and develop and present business cases
  • Ability to work across various constituencies and in particular coordinate with local and global stakeholders at all levels
  • Transversal project management skills
  • German and English communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Flexibility for travel
