Permanent role with Gold Coast based company for a Level 3 Service Desk Technician
Your new company This Gold Coast based ASX listed company offers quality services in maintenance and support, voice, data and cloud services. Their customer base spans over a multitude of industries, offering flexible solutions for each. Due to upcoming projects and company growth they are seeking a skilled Level 3 Service Desk Technician on a permanent basis.
Your new role Your new role will be reporting into the team leader, providing level 3 support to staff and customers dealing with escalations from level 1 and 2 technicians, identifying and resolving technical and hardware problems and taking in calls. There will be times where you will be asked to lead the team, provide training to other members of the team and make recommendations where needed.
What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Microsoft
Active Directory
Linux
VMware
PowerShell and Group Policy
Understanding ITIL concepts
Strong communication skills
Experience within an MSP will be highly regarded, as well as MySQL and Nginx.
