Business Analyst
In this role as a Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the BA Practice Team, assigned to a project with responsibilities for the analysis activities.

The opportunity: In this role as a Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the BA Practice Team, assigned to a project with responsibilities for the analysis activities. You will work with business stakeholders to scope, define and deliver accurate and clear business cases, requirements, option analysis and plans to support delivery of project objectives. This role can be filled in Sydney or Melbourne.
We are currently have multiple opportunities (max term contract and contractor) available in the BA Practice team and are looking for skillsets specifically in digital and web-based solutions.
To do this successfully you will: - Facilitate workshops to elicit business needs and to plan for delivery of 'fit for purpose' BA activities and artefacts
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to review, capture and validate 'as is' and 'to be' operations in support of delivery of business and technology solutions and change
- Elicit, analyse and specify business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the delivery of digital and web-based solutions, using CX/UX practices and methods to ensure customer centricity of delivered solutions
- Translate requirements into Epics and User Stories (as required), ensuring they are clear and concise, continually refined with appropriate acceptance criteria and are well understood by the business and project teams
- Collaboration across business, technology teams and operational support functions to understand the desired Customer and User experience to support the design and implementation of changes to work practices, processes, and systems
- Participate and facilitate (where needed) cadence-based planning and delivery events
Successful applications will demonstrate: - Demonstrated Business Analyst experience including some business process testing experience
- Experience with Life Insurance & Superannuation operations and products
- Experience with Agile and Lean Waterfall delivery of Digital and web-based solutions (including proficiency in CX/UX design practices/methods)
- Strong personal leadership with great communication and collaboration skills
- Self-organised with a strong attention to detail
