This role is will be in the Finance team for the Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance A&NZ business. Key responsibilities will be centered around Controllership and the month end closing and Financial & Regulatory reporting (FED, SEC & local A&NZ) processes, however the role will also involve the structuring and setup of processes, Involvement in FP&A activities including pricing and completing ad-hoc projects and tasks across the Controllership and FP&A streams.

•Complete all month end tasks and account reconciliations to high quality within agreed timelines
•Execute on quarterly reporting including US SEC and FED Reserve schedules with quality work and within agreed timelines
•Manage the ALLL process, liaising with Risk and Operations to ensure reserves, write-offs and recoveries and correctly and adequately stated
•Assist with setup of new processes, and prepare SOPs/documentation as needed
•Execute on statutory reporting requirements
•Drive efficiencies across the accounting and reporting processes
•Ad hoc projects and new starter training may be required
•Involvement in FP&A activities such as pricing and OPEX management

Qualifications:
•Business Accounting Degree
•CA or CPA complete/ half way through the qualification
•Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Accounting / Finance area, preferably with a financial institution or the financial services industry.
Technical Knowledge:
•Knowledge and practical application of Australian and US Accounting Standards (not essential)
•Understanding local, SEC and Fed reporting requirements is a strong plus
•Understanding Australian statutory reporting requirements is a strong plus
•Understanding Oracle GL (reporting books, Foreign Exchange impact, interfaces) is a strong plus
