About The Role
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Role Type: 6-month Fixed Term contract, Full Time
At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Technical Business Analyst to join our ANZ MarKit team within Strategic Marketing Portfolio.
As a Technical Business Analyst you will be a highly skilled practitioner and thought leader that helps ANZ deliver leading customer experiences and business performance improvements by continuously enhancing ANZ MarKit System (a Marketing Resource Management System). You will bridge the gap between business opportunities and system implementation. You will have a proven track record of being able to deeply understand how the interactions between system and end users generate value. You will demonstrate a process and system engineering mindset, keenly focussed on connecting all of the components within the system to deliver customer journey value.
Your accountabilities will also include:
  • Providing business application support and ongoing training for the enterprise Marketing Resource Management (MRM) software as used by Marketing personnel across ANZ internally and external business partners.
  • Being the principal point of contact between system users and vendors to maintain optimal system performance that satisfies business need.
  • Acting as the SME for the ANZ MarKit Support Team to ensure successful project delivery by displaying an in-depth user insight by recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Analysing and synthesising information and developing efficient business/ systems improvement changes and effectively implement them into the business to enhance user experience.
  • Identifying continuous improvement initiatives that satisfy business need and align with strategy.
You will wear multiple hats during the day. A typical day might look like:
Communications Expert:
  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering communications, engagement activities for system enhancements / transformations.
  • This includes advising leaders and stakeholders on things like eDMs, messaging, channels and timing to ensure the stream’s communications are appropriate, effective, and consistent.
Data Analysis:
  • Data Mining: You will spend most part of your day studying multiple source files, establishing the unique key and relationship between these source files and propose a structure to organize records within these files strategically.
  • You will bring all the thought to propose plan of attack /outcomes with less or no supervision. Apply story telling / visualising techniques on how to cater these legacy assets/records for end users.
Support Expert:
  • You strive to understand your stakeholder, so you could define the problem and propose solutions.
  • You will work with the end users to understand system issues/inconsistencies, resolve them and escalate them with Vendor should the need be.
  • Work on quick turnarounds, Log issues, help product owner to prioritize pressing support issues and publish reports on key trends.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Existing functional experience or exposure in the following disciplines: communication strategies, change management, agile/scrum/NWOW, business analysis and support.
  • Technical-minded with background in software application customer service and/or business support role.
  • Experience in software release management, UAT, BVT, Regression testing & UAM
  • Fluent with configuring and maintaining systems (specifically Marketing Resource Management System)
  • Hands-on system configuration experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the system development life cycle and change control discipline.
  • Outstanding communication skills with proven corporate internal communications experience.
  • Strong experience with ANZ’s online communication channels including eDMs, confluence, Yammer and Teams.
  • Passionate about coaching and continuous improvement to enhance end user experience and uplift user adoption, with demonstrated experience in delivering user training & support.
  • Evidence of strong relationship building skills across multiple stakeholders, including experience working with vendors.
The following are not mandatory but will be looked upon favourably:
  • A formal qualification in communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing communications for large, complex programs of work.
  • A strong understanding of and/or passion for technology, particularly cloud.
  • Experience working with workflow systems.
  • Data Mining / visualization skills.
