Outsourcing remains as one of Citi Australia and New Zealand's most significant risks, which is a view supported by Australia's regulators - the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

As a central point of contact, this role will provide line 1 support to ensure ongoing focus on the execution and ongoing monitoring processes for outsourced activities, including adherence to local regulation and the implementation and interpretation of internal Citi policy requirements and guidelines.

The  Deputy Third Party Risk Manager (D-TPRM)  will work alongside the  Third Party Risk Manager (TPRM)  on a daily basis to manage and oversee the in-country outsourcing landscape.

Key skills and experiences required for this role are:

  • General banking knowledge
  • Experience with change management and process improvement projects
  • Ability to analyse complex, multi-country projects to assess local outsourcing impact
  • Awareness of various commercial and organisational structures, pressures and challenges
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Accountability and desire to execute best practice within established time frames
  • Analytical, logical and innovative mindset and approach
  • Ability to establish and develop meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related business field
