Our client provides specialist financing to corporate and SME businesses who supply large multinationals. This international group has provided over $10bn of financing to a very significant pool of suppliers across over 50 different countries. Given the growth and expansion globally and in the domestic market, they are now seeking a VP/AD Risk Management to join their team in Sydney.

You will support the Australian Origination team and report to the Chief Risk Officer, understanding and adhering to the risk appetite in the management and monitoring of credit risk and all other enterprise risks. You will provide input into credit applications, structuring and analysing credit intensive transactions; while ensuring that risks are properly outlined and assessed, as well as providing in-depth credit analysis for supply chain finance and corporate lending transactions and present to the credit risk committee. 

It is anticipated that you will hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Finance, combined with over 10+ years of relevant credit risk experience and a good understanding of local regulatory standards. You will have a demonstrable track record in risk management across small and mid-corporate lending, SCF and/or trade finance, a strong analytical risk focus is essential, with genuine passion for risk management. A knowledge of specialised financing alternatives and ability to work closely with product specialists and senior management to develop innovative financial packages tailored to specific customer needs is expected. You will be highly motivated, driven and pragmatic approach to the business and risk management, with highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
