Your Role
As an employee of the Consulting workforce, you will work within an Accenture project team at client premises. You will take over delivery and team responsibility in various projects in financial services (Insurance, Banking, capital markets and risks).

The Finance & Risk practice team assists their clients in scoping, designing and/or implementing risk management solutions, adapting organizations to new regulatory requirements and to the compliance function transformation. In order to support the growth of our F&R practice in the compliance area, we are looking to recruit new collaborators (experts in operational risks, internal control, banking and insurance compliance, auditor profile, …)

Within multi-disciplinary teams, while working on hot topics for our clients, you will develop your functional or technical expertise to successfully support our clients in the challenges they face in the compliance area.

Job Description
As a Risk Consultant your job will be to solve complex financial problems related to Financial Risk Management. You will be member of a team and do project based work for various organizations and you will manage (Junior) Consultants within the project team.

The teams you will be part of as a Consultant will predominantly work on projects within the banking and insurance industry, both domestically and internationally. You possess knowledge of Market- and/or Credit Risk. Dependent on your experience you will command a functional and technical team and you will discuss the progress with the client. Making effective use of IT is an important part of the projects. As a Consultant you will be directly involved in customer relations and you will influence the shaping of the internal organization of Finance & Risk Management within Accenture.

Basic qualifications
Qualifications
- Finished Master's degree in Econometrics, Industrial Engineering and Management, mathematics or physics; a Ph.D. is an advantage.
- Around 3 years experience with Financial Risk Management;
- Experience in Market or Credit Risk Management
- Competent in using Value at Risk concepts;
- Knowledge and experience with Basel III and/or Solvency II
- Proficient in English language. Dutch is an advantage
