Big Data Engineer

A big data engineering role of a world leading FMCG brand company


Your new company:
This company is a world leading consumer goods company with various categories and business around the world. Owns over 30 leadership brands, 20+ of them are all in the billion-dollar brand club. Its digital marketing business has rise and enlarge its scope in recent years.

Your new role:
Working as an acceleration factor behind the productivity and effectiveness of Data Science, you are required to deal with complex data, optimize data models and provide analytics solutions at scale. You need to join global project and work with different IT departments, including analytic algorithms and Machine learning experts. You will work with DevOps and Solution Management, so ensure projects deliver on time.

What you'll need to succeed:
To be a successful candidate, we hope you are a good communicator in both English and Chinese, team player who is desire to explore into advanced technology, bachelor degree above in Computer Science or other relevant discipline, and have the following skills

  • Solid knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java and R and packaging/build tools such as sbt, Apache Maven or Ant
  • Demonstrated skills or are familiar with Big Data technologies (Hive, Impala) and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency of data modeling and solution scaling.
