You will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and single tasks. Some will require long term planning and others will require little planning with focus instead being on quick time to market.
Bridging between business and IT specialists is a key aspect of the position. You understand the business requirements and expected outcome - and from that, design and present the IT solutions to be developed.
The position calls for project management with an analytical and business minded approach. Having the big picture in mind while managing the details is imperative. You are expected also to contribute to your projects as a business analyst.
You will be part of Business Solutions in Development Office. Development Office is architect and owner of the operational platform for Nordea Asset Management. Business Solutions is a team that combines IT and business competences to ensure efficient IT development.
The responsibilities of Business Solutions spans from building system integrations, data deliveries/reporting, data warehousing, business intelligence solutions, web portals, in-house application development to implementation of external vendor applications.
The qualifications you need
~~This role would be suitable for a project manager with a background as business analyst. Or an experienced business analyst that looks for the first role as project manager.
As a project manager you are able to organise, plan, manage and communicate in all phases of a project – from scoping, development, testing to implementation.
You have strong analytical skills with a good understanding of data structures and value chains in the asset management industry. Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is an advantage.
Although you may not have deep insight into all the technical details, you are able to navigate and involve the relevant IT and business specialists when needed
- Are flexible, robust and outgoing, and capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time.
- Take responsibility and feel a strong ownership of your projects and solutions.
- Present the IT solutions in visual documentation to support storytelling and technical documentation.
- Are able to write and execute your own SQL to analyse data.
- Are fluent in English
