The role holder is responsible to manage the provision of advisory services to Private Banking & Wealth (PBW) clients, ensuring that services are provided in coordination with team leaders/relationship managers with consistency and high level engagement. The incumbent will provide active investment advisory services including the generation of investment ideas tailored to market trends, client investments profile and FAB investment views. The role holder will support relationship managers in business development and client servicing activities.

The Investment Advisory function forms a key part of PBW's offering through delivery of investments solutions and advisory services.  In charge of leading the team and servicing a pool of clients. Well rounded and experienced professional in financial markets coupled with in-depth knowledge on a specific asset or sub-asset class with strong inter-personal skillsets. The responsibilities will include :

• Managing the team of investment advisors in the UAE with responsibility  for the quality of service, adherence to process and guidelines,  provided to Wealth & Private Banking Team Leaders, Relationship Managers and Clients;
• Directly handling existing client relationships on a regular basis with regards to all investment /portfolio related requirements (portfolio health check-up, investment proposals, etc.);
• Contributing and committing to W&PB’s financial budget and investment sales/revenue targets;
• Actively promoting investment opportunities across the full spectrum of asset classes (from the focus list universe) in line with FAB investment views and Tactical Allocation whilst monitoring investments of advisory clients and providing reporting to the Head of Products & Services;
• Actively participating in committees for the promotion of investment products and/or solutions in line with FAB investment views; Source new ideas based on market information and client/relationship manager feedback.
• Being the focal point of contact and screening for investment requirements from the various client segments (e.g. UHNW, NRI, etc.);
• Co-ordinate maintenance of the program line up of investment vehicles and the implementation of asset allocation strategic and tactical shifts, resulting from research, P&S and product committee decisions;
• Coordinating and facilitating Investment Advisory training;
• Liaising and coordinating within PBW Segment for all investment advisory activities as appropriate;
