The associate Director of Digital Analytics & Experience leads and directs the customer digital experience for Retail Banking Hong Kong. This position makes use of the internal and external quantifiable data, makes recommendations and executes plans which improve the digital engagement with the Retail Banking customers, covers both online and mobile banking.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy a robust digital analytics framework to aid the understanding of the customers' digital needs
  • Collaborate with Retail Analytics Team, Product, Segment, Technology, Marketing and external service provider, leverage on existing infrastructure or implement new ways to gather customer insights on digital
  • Ensure customer insights are well understood within the digital banking team, as well as business stakeholders, and applied as the fundamentals of the development and improvement of all products and services
  • Track the cost & benefits of the digital initiatives, and provide recommendation to maximize the investment opportunities
  • Scale and quantify the digital usage & engagement, establish on-going tracking mechanism to drive the on-going direction of digital transformation
  • Direct and implement the digital engagement initiatives, either derived from analytics, recommended by business stakeholders, or driven by market
  • Stay relevant and update on industry trends around digital and big data, and maintain robust communication among digital team and business stakeholders


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or above, statistical background an advantage
  • Knowledge in basic analytical tool usage & implementation
  • 10+ years of retail banking experience, of which 6+ years in digital banking, analytics or related discipline
  • Passionate in digital, and experience in implementation of new digital capability to retail customers
  • Sound demonstration of using data to drive decision
  • Proficient in leading business and internal team discussions, especially in execution of a business idea
  • Strong in verbal and written communication
