Data Chapter Head

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and accelerate enterprise analytics agenda to meet DBS's aspiration towards becoming AI-led bank
• Define and own the country analytics vision and provide leadership to the BU/SU data and analytics leads on the implementation. The strategic analytics agenda includes driving impact from AI/ML work, building analytics capability of less matured BU/SU/Countries and industrializing AI/ML capabilities.
• Develop the country analytics strategy and capability to dial up the impact from AI/ML.
• Establish and maintain the data management functions across the bank, including formulating new approaches towards AI/ML governance.
• Partner closely with BU/SU businesses in country and lead the data chapter to understand business drivers / priorities and identify opportunities where analytics can create significant impact to drive business outcomes.
• Formulate and implement strategy for analytics chapter to deepen AI/ML expertise and capability as part of vertical chapter(s)
• Drive AI Industrialization to increase adoption for DBS AI Protocol and data science reusable assets.
• Work with ecosystem partners to evaluate new techniques and technologies to address business challenges and roll out successful data driven solutions
• Manage the attraction and retention of analytics resources, drive the development of skillsets and deepening expertise for data chapter (including setting best practices and standards and providing technical direction)

Requirements:

• Graduate / Post-graduate Degree preferably in a science or finance related discipline with 15+ years' business experience in financial services industry, preferably in banking, with several years of experience in consultancy
• Strong banking domain and analytics skills
• Well versed with data analytics techniques like predictive, prescriptive, ML and AI
• Strong leadership and senior stakeholder management skills
• Ability to navigate in a complex environment and achieve outcome
• Passion to help business with 'problem solving' and 'can-do' attitude
