The position is a new headcount within a fast growing technology company, expanding their business in APAC.

Description

  • Serve as first point of contact and provide initial technical assistance for help desk requests by phone, email or in person
  • Create, prioritize, track and escalate help tickets
  • Configure, Install, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware; Desktop and Laptops
  • Maintain end-user accounts; including adding, changing, reactivating, disabling, and deleting users
  • Provide support for Windows, MS Office, web browser, and other common desktop applications
  • Work with other IT staff members to ensure efficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment
  • Ensure that physical desktop connections are in proper working order
  • Install and maintain end-user software in order to deliver required desktop service levels

 

Requirements

  • Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware and software
  • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience
  • Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Experience with VDI is beneficial
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
