We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Data Lead .

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Own and be responsible for all aspects of digital data that spans sourcing, storing and partnering with the local Analytics teams to attain access to and interpretation of data and analytics in Hong Kong
  • All aspects of digital data management from sourcing and storing all relevant data sets as well as partnering with the Analytics team to produce hypotheses, funnel and other data analysis to support digital operating activities, business performance and improved customer experience
  • Leading the development, implementation and maintenance of local information, analysis and reporting that supports and informs business management decisions, operating activities and real time needs
  • Establishing and managing a complex array of stakeholder groups across different departments and functions
  • Establishing and maintaining a robust and efficient control environment across country Digital Management to ensure good operational practices and compliance with the company's policy and procedures, together with early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise
  • All aspects of digital data management from sourcing and storing all relevant data sets as well as partnering with the Analytics team to produce hypotheses, funnel and other data analysis to support digital operating activities, business performance and improved customer experience
  • Produce, maintain, and implement a tagging structure and strategy across all content on all platforms
  • Create hypotheses to support Marketing, optimization, added value messaging and business activities
  • Support data attribution analysis
  • Build funnel analyses to inform and improve customer and product journeys, improve leads conversion etc
  • Design front end reporting
  • Source and manage third party agencies and partners
  • Ensure integration with technology stack such as DMP
  • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach to execute change at pace with minimum conflict
  • Develops effective working relationships with key stakeholders to maintain expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends to influence future direction
  • Proactively increases knowledge and awareness of technical and business trends, changes or advances and assess their impact to existing business applications
  • Maintain an informed network of contacts within consulting, financial services and data information management disciplines
  • Accountable for the information support to the contact strategy for all
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets

  • Solid business and IT digital leadership experience in the development and operation of Business Intelligence Applications and delivery in a large financial institution or comparable environment. Experience operating as a Management Consultant also preferred
  • Proven capability to conducting negotiations with business unit management and third party technology product and service providers
  • Relevant experience of data warehousing, customer relationship management and business intelligence in the Retail Banking industry
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrated strategic and critical thinking capacity
  • Experience working with Digital and Marketing organisations to execute customer campaigns and offers across multiple distribution channels
  • Proven capabilities in written communications such as procedures, processes, business case-level analysis, system documentation, training materials, etc.
  • Proven experience leading large business initiatives, as well as leading a data and information management team working in complex matrixed environments
  • Excellent strategic, analytic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple, complex programs and initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of talent management and development
  • Technical undergraduate and MBA or other graduate degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of BI tools, vendors and industry trends
  • Excellent people and leadership skills. Ability to motivate people to achieve objectives
  • Ability to navigate the political dynamics inherent in a large organization
  • Ability to work with and persuade others through influence and negotiation
  • Mentoring capabilities for application development and infrastructure support professionals and the proven ability to function as a respected thought leader among peer groups inside and outside the Enterprise
  • Ability to effectively manage projects involving Technical and Business personnel who may be direct reports or aligned for part time project assignments
