Our client, a global long/short equity fund, is looking to hire an Equity Analyst in Hong Kong with a great understanding of the Taiwan Semiconductor / Hardware sector.

Responsibilities:

Inform your team's investment strategies by creating sophisticated financial models
Conduct primary research, attend industry events, and build relationships with sell-side analysts
Analyze big data to identify investment opportunities and risks
Continuously improve and develop analytical skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable university
3+ years of equity research experience covering the Semiconductor and/or IT Hardware sector, from either sell-side or buy-side
Expertise in the Taiwan Semiconductor / Hardware sector
US Tech coverage experience would be a plus
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
