Taikang Asset Management Co., Ltd. (hereafter simplified as “Taikang AMC” or “the Company”) was set up in February 2006 with its predecessor as the asset management centre of Taikang Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Its registered capital reached RMB 1 billion.


Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Company Limited (hereafter simplified as “Taikang Asset (Hong Kong)” or “the Company”) was established in November 2007, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taikang Asset Management Company, Limited.  Taikang Asset (Hong Kong) has been licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) for Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activity.  The Company is expanding and is inviting professionals who are inspired in developing their career at Taikang Asset (Hong Kong).

Job responsibilities:

  • Report to the Chief Operations Officer
  • Responsible for corporate financial and regulatory reporting
  • Review Financial Resources Rules (“FRR”) return and oversight SFC compliance on FRR rules
  • Prepare all types of taxation and regulatory filings and provide support on tax related issues
  • Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
  • Manage company-wide budgetary planning
  • Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation
  • Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  • Supervise junior staff in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, and account payables, etc.
  • Prepare official reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Seek out methods and practices to minimize financial risk
  • Contract auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
  • Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants
  • Update and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Maintain a policy manual for the finance department
  • Ad hoc projects assigned by the management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant disciplines with professional qualification CPA
  • At least 7 years relevant experience gained from asset management companies
  • A team player with integrity and honesty and understanding of data privacy standards
  • thorough understanding of business principles and practices
  • Proven track record in leading a team and meeting all hard deadlines and projects
  • Excellent mathematical skills, planning and problem-solving skills, and multi-tasking skills
  • Well versed in written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin is a must
