Institutional Sales director - Tier 1 Asset Manager

Our client is one of the most high-performing asset managers in Europe. They are looking for a high caliber candidate to join their current sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible in the development of the firm’s activities amongst institutional clients including but not limited to sovereign wealth fund and central banks in the Asia market
  • Work in close collaboration with existing investment platforms to gather assets from particular client segment.
  • Share regional and client information with appropriate members of the company’s existing business globally and encourage best practices across the firm.
  • To encourage best practice across the firm including but not limited to global clientele
  • To formulate and execute business strategies for Sovereign Wealth Funds & Central banks  
Requirement:  
  • Degree holder with CFA qualification preferred
  • 8+ years sales experience in asset managers
  • Extensive senior contacts with major SWFs & Central Banks in the Asia Region.
  • Advanced knowledge on a full spectrum of asset classes (particularly in fixed income but also Equity, & Alternatives etc.) and market insights.
  • Experience in servicing institutional clients in the region. Experience in institutional investing/consultancy is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese & Mandarin is highly preferred but not a must
