Our client is a well known financial company looking for Linux System Engineer
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Linux system administration, configuration, upgrade, customization and migration on the large scale enterprise virtualization server farm.
- Performs problem isolation, analysis and resolution for issues in various aspects including hardware, system software, application systems, system performance
- Provides system / technical support to application / development teams
- Provide monitoring on servers and perform proper remedy actions to ensure minimum impacts to server performance and up-time.
- Ensure all infrastructure environments are running with HA, DR and BCP standards.
Job Specifications:
- Degree in IT or related discipline preferable but not necessary if with adequate job experience.
- Experience in financial institution is an advantage
- Experience in various Linux distributions including Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, etc.
- Experience in managing hundreds of servers is an advantage
- Experience in Apache, nginx, Tomcat, Java, Docker, Ansible, VMware, storage management is an advantage
- Willing to learn, proactive with strong senses of responsibility
- Enjoy team work and sharing of experience with knowledge and able to work independently etc.
- Proactivity to learn new skills and knowledge regularly.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
