Currently, we're hiring Banking & Finance Legal Consultants to join us with:
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience within the areas of general lending, leveraged finance, acquisition finance and / or structured finance
- In-house legal experience is preferred (directly, or as a secondee) though not essential
- Strong commercial understanding along with excellent interpersonal skills, with the view of adapting to new environments
- Desire to provide excellent client service and an ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
The responsibilities for this role will include:
- Working side by side with the legal and business teams of our F500 clients to help internal stakeholders meet company goals
- Providing practical in-house legal advice and support on a wide range of finance transactions, including cash flow lending, acquisition finance, asset based loan transactions, dividend and other recapitalizations, as well as restructuring and reorganizations
- Engaging in the drafting, negotiating and reviewing of a variety of financing documents, including; loan facility agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, ancillary documents, corporate authority documents
- Advising both on domestic and cross-border transactions, including managing external counsel where required foreign law firm
