Mission

Major Accountabilities / Principle Responsibilities

MARK COO Asia Pacific:

1. Contribute to the Development of MARK Asia Business

  • Sponsor or lead key MARK projects having strong impacts on clients
  • Develop synergies between FO teams or cooperate with support to develop our activities and services
  • Deliver new technologies which will contribute to grow MARK businesses
  • Accompany regulatory changes impacting our businesses
  • Align MARK objectives with those of support and control functions
2. Continuously Improve the Efficiency of MARK Asia Setup

  • Optimize our client base and the services provided to them
  • Identify and deliver simplification initiatives in collaboration with our partners
  • Streamline and automate our processes through the development of new tools
  • Deliver cost reduction initiatives even if unpopular
  • Optimize existing resources within MARK or in collaboration with GBS
3. Ensures MARK Asia Businesses are properly Controlled and Protected

  • Secure the framework of our commercial franchise
  • Cooperate within the COO team and with SAFE to improve MARK operating framework
  • Provide new control framework on areas not covered so far
  • Identify zones of operational risks and take corrective actions to remediate them
  • Maintain an impeccable conduct for ourselves and the teams we cover
4. Manage COO Teams

  • Organize the team to cover efficiently all MARK Asia perimeter
  • Ensure back-ups and recruitments to limit impacts of turnover
  • Train and motivate staff
