We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Business Management and Risk Control, Corporate Trust and Loan Agency Asia.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​​Work with other Business Managers and Analysts to define the CTLA business requirements, participate as a business expert in recommending and implementing solutions as well as communicating the solutions effectively to management.
  • Coordinate with CTLA Asia Pacific site heads and members in implementing effective risk governance and controls
  • Participate as a business expert in recommending and implementing solutions as well as communicating the solutions effectively to Business Management, Chief Control Office and other internal clients
  • Challenge the status quo and take an incisive view on how we do things to enhance productivity
  • Support a properly governed business that recognises risks of its work and manages change effectively
  • Represent CTLA Asia Pacific in key Group policy implementation and change initiatives
  • Contributes to Best Practice and continuous improvement of the framework


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Understanding of the HSBC Group structure and familiar with the Securities Services business
  • Familiar with the changing regulatory and competitive landscape pertaining to the banking industry
  • Sharp business acumen, management of financials, ability to make and influence tactical decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence at all levels of the business
  • Experience in operational, project and change management roles
  • Must be a good communicator.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
