We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Operations, Cards and Loans.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cards and loans operations, monitor the performance of all processes and ensure meeting business requirement and Performance Level Agreement.
  • Define operational targets and objectives, formulate and execute business plan.
  • Work closely with Lines of Business and stakeholders to support implementation of changes on services, products or system to comply with new regulatory requirements.
  • Engage and manage relationship with Vendor. Ensure all appropriate contractual arrangements, required security and controls are in place.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards. Implement applicable Global Standards, and awareness of the operational risk associated with the job.
  • Ensure compliance of internal guidelines, group policies and external regulators.
  • Protect the bank interests by minimize and avoid operational loss, and ensure compliance of internal and external guidelines and any other relevant guidelines published by Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
  • Oversee the performance of Global Service Centres and ensure offshore teams are operating in accordance with the standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate and contribute to improve performance, productivity and cost efficiency within the group.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered while meeting internal and external requirement.

  • Compatible education background
  • Experienced in cards and loans operations, Projects and Vendor management related working experience is preferable
  • Self motivated, good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving capacities
  • Proven judgmental skills in identifying and resolving problems
  • Proven ability to influence others and drive quality performance
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
