A Global financial institution is looking for a Regional Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team based in Hong Kong

 

Your Job is;

Business Performance

 Maintain financial controls and ensure integrity of financial data
 Management of month end reporting cycle, half and full year end reporting for the firm
 Monitor the firm's business plan and review operating results in light of plan objectives and targets
 Enhance and streamline current management reporting to the various audiences
 Create finance related process improvement initiatives across the business
 Develop, implement and maintain the planning and forecasting framework for the firm
 Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
 Provide financial support to the group's business initiatives
 In conjunction with Group Finance/Investor Relations, presentation of the firm's financial information for external audiences
 Ad hoc presentation and analysis as required, including Roadshow packs

Development of Innovative Business Solutions

 Improve depth and quality of management reporting as well as reporting cycle times
 Automation and rationalisation of the various sources of management information across the firm
 Improve depth and quality of management reporting
 Participate in strategic initiatives where the firm's businesses are impacted

Risk Management & Compliance

 Identify and assess the Finance related risks that could prevent division from achieving its strategies. Plan and execute risk mitigating procedures. Regularly report and discuss the results of risk management initiatives performed within the team.
 

To Qualify you must have:

 Significant experience (at least 10+ years) in controlling, financial analysis, business planning gained in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
 High level of technical competency and understanding of the group structure, systems, policies and procedures
 Exceptional partnering skills at an executive level
 Financial acumen and ‘quick mindedness’ with the ability to readily translate financial data into business insights
 Highly effective leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a high performing team
