Responsibilities:
- To conduct industry analysis, cover macro and most hot sectors in the global market, mainly focusing on Hong Kong, China and U.S. stock markets
- Build and maintain financial models and related databases
- Tracking and gathering of news and information related to the companies and sectors under coverage
- Conduct due diligence on the sector and company coverage assigned, including meeting with corporate management, conducting site visits etc.
- Compile comprehensive sector research reports to analyses the industry outlook and identify investment ideas
- Communicate stock ideas in morning meetings to internal investment team
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of equity research experience from buy side or sell side;
- Able to work independently, result-driven and work under pressure
- Degree or above in Economics, Finance, holder of CFA/CPA certificate are preferred
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, able to build financial models; conduct and update all valuation comparison for the stocks related to the sector(s) assigned
- Good language skills, communication skills and presentation skills
- Possession of relevant SFC license required
Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Research Analyst or Junior Analyst.
