An exciting opportunity to support the Global Head of Compliance Control Room has become available. We are seeking an experienced professional to join a team that manages the firm's information barriers, conflict of interest, and employee personal trading in addition to Research compliance advisory.

Compliance Control Room is a part of Risk Management Group of Macquarie. The role requires regular interaction with senior stake holders in front office as well as within Compliance organization. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic global team located across four offices- Sydney, Hong Kong, London and New York.

This position is based in Asia but expected to cover global Control Room, to drive consistency and efficiencies across regional offices. This person will support the Global Head of Control Room on execution of key projects, review of firmwide policies owned by Control Room, development of internal procedures, and delivery of compliance communication and training on information barriers, personal trading and Research compliance-related topics.

This person will serve as Control Room liaison and coordinator on internal and external audit, control assurance review, inquiries and inspections, and operational excellence (OE) projects.

This person is expected to provide coverage on Research review, conflict clearance and maintenance of Watch and Restricted lists to provide cross-regional support as needed, sometimes outside of Asia business hours. Willingness and availability to work flexible hours is essential, including evening, late night hours, some weekends or holidays.

We are looking for candidates with 4-6 years of Compliance or operational risk management experience, with strong risk assessment, project management, writing and presentation skills.
