We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Technical Lead.

Principal responsibilities

  • Work as part of an integrated project team to design, develop digital solutions that meet the Retail Business Banking customer needs
  • Analyze business problems, identify business opportunities, evaluate alternative options and to provide technology solutions based on given constraints
  • Manage the end to end lifecycle of the software development, including estimation, design, development and QA.
  • Leader of a technical scrum development team in charge of developing and deploying software solutions
  • Contribute in scrum ceremonies as an active participant such as daily stand ups, sprint planning meeting, retrospective and backlog grooming sessions
  • Work closely with the solution architect to derive solutions that balance between near term constraint, while aligning to the strategic directions
  • Conduct technical evaluation on vendor products, lead the effort of POC, design integration touchpoints and offer IT recommendations
  • Facilitate design meetings that involve key stakeholders, which include IT, business and end users

  • Solid working experience in IT, preferably in software development or IT architecture
  • Experienced working in the Retail Banking and Wealth Management business with good knowledge of retail banking and wealth products
  • Experienced working in the Commercial Banking being a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or IT
  • Previous experience working in Digital or Channels projects as an IT specialists
  • Experienced developing in Java, Web and Spring
  • Strong technical awareness of DevOps related methodology and tooling
  • Comfortable with Mobile native technology such as iOS and Android
  • Experienced developing REST API with industry standard security controls
  • Committed to deliverables and demonstrate a can do attitude
  • Interested in taking up new challenges and come up with new innovative solutions towards problems
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese speaking languages
  • Well accustomed to representing ideas in terms of graphics and videos
  • Good writing skills in terms of business documents and communications
  • Proven experience working with external vendor
  • Proven experience delivering projects that requires coordination of multiple cross functional teams
  • Ability to influent progress and priorities with internal IT groups
  • As part of Global team the candidate is expected occasionally to participate in meetings or conference calls outside Hong Kong office hours
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
  • Self motivation, enthusiasm and proven rapid learning capabilities
