The APAC Strategy team is part of the Global Strategy group which seeks to maximise the firm’s long-term performance by identifying evaluating and addressing the company’s most important strategic opportunities and challenges.The team is focused on providing strategic support and insights across State Street’s business lines to inform decision-making by senior management. As an AVP in the APACStrategy team you will participate in strategy projects financial analyses and targeted business efforts across ourbusiness linesand jurisdictions.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the APAC Head of Strategy Global Strategy groupand senior managers to identify and analyse key strategic issues and develop options and recommendations to support State Street’s corporate regional and business-unit strategies and performance
  • Develop frameworks and other tools to help structure and answer key strategic questions
  • Supportannual strategic planning process and Board offsite shaping the development of the firm’s long-term corporate strategy
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses participating actively in all phases of the project life cycle
  • Support management reporting and insights on key execution priorities and selected cross-enterprise initiatives
  • Communicate recommendations to senior management through effective oral and written skills

  • Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree with strong record of academic achievement
  • 3–4 years’ relevant experience in management consulting or strategy discipline with a focus on financial services
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong work-ethic and ‘can do’ attitude with an ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas both written and oral
  • Ability to lead projects independently work collaboratively and build relationships across the organisation
