Position Description
Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Global Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Group supports the company's responsible growth strategy by working with lines of business and support groups to integrate ESG leadership into everything we do. The Global Environmental Group - part of the ESG Group - is responsible for developing and executing the bank's environmental strategy.

As part of a small team, the Environment, Social and Governance Project Manager helps lead the firms' environmental, social and governance efforts in Asia Pacific. In addition the incumbent helps drive the execution of the BofAML's environmental and social programs in the region

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners to explore innovative social and green products and services
  • Support regional initiatives driving operational footprint goals
  • Drive education and awareness around environmental and social risk and the implementation of the firm's Environmental and Social Risk Policy framework
  • Support environmental employee networks in region and environmental volunteering
  • Manage internal and external ESG stakeholders
  • Provide awareness and ESG education for internal stakeholders
  • Support ESG related reporting requirements
  • Position the firm as a thought leader in the ESG space
  • Support ESG communications efforts internally and externally

Key Requirements
  • Applicants should possess a minimum of a degree
  • 10 years of experience in the ESG sector in the financial services industry, with a focus on environment
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and influencing skills and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to present effectively before senior management and to work effectively across multiple levels and types of employees
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other business technologies
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
