  • Handle new client adoption, credit application and annual review of clients, counterparties, CCP, Broker, warehouse, Insurance, L/C Bank;
  • Handle trading documentation from risk perspective, typically ISDA/CSA, Terms of Business, Loan Agreement, Guarantee, Insurance policy, warrant buy/sell agreement;
  • Handle various credit limit excess, margin call delay, fail settlement, as well as other credit risk related events from trading activities;
  • Assess risk from physical trading activities and maintain proper risk framework;
  • Support daily monitoring work under local regulatory requirement (trading limit setup, stress test, excess, concentration and liquidity monitoring;
  • Support development of risk management program as well as other regulatory requirement;
  • Assess risk from NPA/NBA, coordinate NPA/NBA process, and setup proper risk framework for new products;
  • Coordinate development of and maintain periodic update in relevant credit policy/procedure, credit systems & participate UATs for aforementioned core job duties;
  • Prepare and provide regular or ad hoc management and reporting & analysis of Global Commodities portfolio to senior management and BOCI Head Office;
  • Assist team head for ad hoc tasks;
  • Such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by your superiors


  • 3-5 years working experience in Global Commodities credit risk management in banks or broker-dealers environment
  • Good financial analysis, risk assessment, due diligence skills on corporates, counterparties and financial institutions involved in commodities business
  • Strong understanding in physical and derivatives commodities products and industries
  • Knowledge and experience in risks and controls for physical commodities trading is an advantage
  • Ability to learn and undertake market and operational risk duties
  • Advanced MS excel and word proficiency
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese)
