Our Public Project and Infrastructure Finance Group in Tokyo is hiring an AVP-Analyst who will manage a portfolio infrastructure companies that includes utilities and railways in Japan. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is seeking to leverage their credit and analytic acumen, while engaging with C-suite executives, finance and credit specialists, internally and externally, and publishing research on infrastructure finance credit-related topics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate ratings on a portfolio of infrastructure companies, such as utilities and railways in Japan.
- Conduct credit analysis in a manner consistent with Moody’s methodologies.
- Manage customer relationships with professionalism and engagement.
- Publish research for issuers on a timely and regular basis and sector commentary, as needed.
- Participate in outreach strategies with investors, intermediaries and issuers.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications strongly desired.
- Several years of relevant analytical experience.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Good working knowledge of public, project and infrastructure sectors in Japan is highly desired.
