Job Description
Help onboard new merchants to our global payments platform by providing them with the tools and help they need, and maximize usability of the platform.
Roles/Responsibilities - Assist in the onboarding of new clients, as well as supporting existing ones, by providing them useful insights and technical consultation, based on each client's needs.
- Together with the sales team, meet new merchants and gather a full understanding of their technical environment, and foresee implementation issues.
- Support clients and colleagues overseas with bast practices, as well as knowledge on the back-end APIs, and web-stack technologies used by the platform.
- Gather feedback from merchants that help improve future versions of the product.
- Optimize usability of the platform by strategizing with merchants, and solving their main painpoints.
Required skills - Client-facing experience in Japan
- Strong knowledge of web development and APIs
- 4-5 years+ of experience in a technical role to support clients
- Excellent skills in SQL / JavaScript / PHP / Java / Scripting
- Fluent or native level Japanese is required, as well as business level English
