Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.

The position at Client Operation supports a wide range of products/ markets and clients this extends to fixed income cash products settling via Euroclear and domestically (some of the products we support are EUR / US government bonds, Japanese Government Bonds, EUR / US corporate bonds,). The group is responsible for all client-related activity from the point of trading through to settlement. The team always seeks to respond rapidly to clients? needs and developments within the industry, making it a constantly changing environment, which demands high performance from the individuals in the team.

You will be primarily responsible for the completion of daily processing tasks, working in a fast-paced, high-risk team environment. You will investigate and resolve issues to ensure trade allocation, confirmation processing and trade settlement all flow smoothly. You will be part of client onboarding process such as sub account opening and client requirement for confirmation & booking to support business expansion. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external client relationships (externally at the operational middle / back office level). You will be required to organize and priorities your daily workflow, as you will receive queries from clients, sales, trader assistants and settlements, to name but a few.


-Communication: Excellent communication skills are required both internally and externally to work with variety of stakeholders
-Language: Japanese is a must and English are essential.
-PC skill: Must be a PC literate. Excel and Word skills are required.
-Other competencies: The person should be a self starter, a team player, a fast learner and independent. The person should be able to take initiative in providing excellent customer service and to have sound administrative discipline.
