IT Branch Architect

Your role

Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future banking technology? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications?

We're looking for an IT technical architect to:

• design software aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions
• work with other technical disciplines to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose
• guide implementation teams to successful delivery
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
• collaborate on problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, MVP design, quality and control

Your team

We are based in Luxembourg and actively deliver projects and solutions to UBS Luxembourg. We are composed of energetic and pragmatic professionals in the field of project and solution delivery. Us professionals focus on various technologies - software development, business analysis and engineering, quality assurance, project and portfolio management.
As an IT technical architect, you'll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectives.

You will be employed by UBS Europe SE, Luxembourg Branch and will work for Credit Suisse Luxembourg S.A. in the team Development, Architecture & QA Lux in the course of Credit Suisse integration into UBS.

Your expertise

• ideally worked as an IT architect for 4 years within the finance sector and be a tech guru and love to support other on technological problems
• good knowledge of IT Architecture principles and methods and a proven understanding of project management principles
• experience in requirements engineering, solution design as well as in application/system integration, IT/User testing and Environment Management
• confirmed ability in developing and maintaining documentation to support IT processes and
a strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• a solid background in Data management/Business Intelligence
• proven delivery of on-premise and cloud IT solutions and successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
thorough understanding of Scrum framework
• bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, TOGAF certified desirable
