Job Description
The team is responsible for asset and cash reconciliations for our Fund Administration team and the incumbent of this role will support the team in responsibilities, which include - - Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of stock and cash, investigate the breaks and provide accurate justification - Query management including questions and queries from clients, audit and internal teams; Act as contact point for escalated data queries or issues - and coordinate change requests between clients and custodian Perform control on cash receivable and payable accounts and follow up of stock and cash breaks with relevant teams - Perform monthly analysis for stock and cash break . Provide accurate management, KPI reporting and statistics to internal management and clients - Maintain good relationship between diverse stakeholders including service provider, vendors, clients and internal teams - Participate in system developments for reconciliation and contribute to improve processes for a more efficient service - Work in close collaboration with the respective services at the custodian bank Take initiative and lead to review current processes and propose changes to enhance controls and expertise in specific market products
Required Interpersonal Skills: - Seeks to deliver high quality service to customers by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks and requests for information - Close attention to detail is necessary - Seek to learn quickly and continually improve service offered - Assist other colleagues. Act as effective team member within the unit and with other units by imparting knowledge and offering assistance as appropriate - Demonstrates initiative in process improvement, which may have an impact on efficiency and client satisfaction. - Ability to work in a structured pattern, setting priorities and meeting deadlines. - Excellent interpersonal skills, as this role requires interaction at all levels of the organisation and externally.
Skills / Experience: - Degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent. - A first professional experience in banking, preferably have knowledge of TLM reconciliation tool - Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organisation skills - Good working knowledge of range of financial products including derivatives - Strong communication skills, fluent English necessary. - Excellent desktop, IT and systems skills. Experience of GP3 advantageous. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential.
