Reporting Accountant

We partner with one of the largest real estate investment managers globally in their search for a Reporting Accountant to join their fast-growing finance team in Luxembourg.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-billion investment manager that acquires, develops, and manages properties over the world and be part of a highly regarded and successful team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basis under IFRS
• Coordinating the production of capital account statements, investor reporting and ad hoc requests
• Calculation of management and performance fees
• Liaise with auditors, manage the audit process
• Responsible for liquidity management, creating budgets and cashflows at Fund level, managing investor drawdowns and distributions, being part of the invoice and payment approval process
• Proving operational support, ensuring existing processes with internal and external teams are effective or improved if required to minimise operational risk
• Review and ensure timely delivery of all Fund level statutory, regulatory and tax filings

Key requirements for this role:

• Excellent academic background; an accounting qualification would be advantageous
• Prior experience in a similar role, ideally in consolidations and IFRS/ LUX GAAP
• Experience in real estate is preferable
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at all levels of seniority
• Highly motivated and adjustable in an entrepreneurial but professional environment
