Primonial Luxembourg Real Estate is Primonial Group’s European fund management hub, proposing real estate investment vehicles designed for international investors, with Pan-European strategies. It is an Alternative Investment Fund Manager.

Primonial Luxembourg Real Estate is currently undergoing rapid development and is seeking to recruit its Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management.

The Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management is part of the senior management of the company.

The role consists in organizing and supervising the risk management activity of the company and of the real estate funds under management.

It also consists in supervising the compliance function and the valuation function.

 Your responsibilities: 

  • Define, update and monitor the risk framework and the specific risk management procedures for the AIFM and the funds under management;
  • Lead discussions on the definition of risk profiles, risk measurement and monitoring methodologies;
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory risk requirements, develop and oversee the risk management function for AIFs;
  • Analyse of potential target investments from a risk management perspective, and identification of mitigants; 
  • Validate of new products: risk opinions, involvement in the set-up, definition of risk indicators;
  • Follow-up of risk indicators;
  • Monitor regulatory, contractual and internal limits;
  • Establish action plans on specific risks detected;
  • Risk reporting to Board of Directors and to the regulator;
  • Manage a team composed of compliance and valuation professionals. He/she will be required to intervene in compliance topics, for example conflicts of interest, knowledge of investors, buyers and sellers of real estate assets;
  • Supervise the valuation function;
  • Assist with the implementation of the internal control plan for the AIFM.

Profile :

At least 7 years of experience in the real estate sector, with significant experience in risk management

Good knowledge of the AIFM environment and the Luxembourg regulatory framework

Strong interest for real estate

Fluent English. Additional European language is a plus.

Very good command of MS pack office

Autonomous, proactive, rigorous and pragmatic

Well organized

Willingness to join a rapidly growing group, with strong ambitions.
