A leading payments institution in Luxembourg is seeking an experienced compliance officer to become responsible for operating within the compliance department - this will include strategic and stakeholder management as well as managing AML setups and frameworks. The Candidate

* 2-3 years of compliance experience within the financial services space, preferably within Luxembourg

* Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance obligations/rules

* Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally

* Ability to manage AML setups and frameworks

* Critical and analytical mindset in order to support and challenge the business

* Strong organizational and presentation skills

* Analytical and problem-solving skills

* Fluency in English and any other language is a bonus

The Role

* Keeping updated with the compliance risk management cycle across the business

* Identifying integrity risks and advising on internal corporate governance and (new) regulations

* Act as a means of support to the head of compliance of the group function

* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business units and its products

* Implement compliance training programs across all functions

* Develop a robust compliance culture within the department
