Job purpose: Our Markets & Communication department is searching for a new
Content & Brand Officer who is a key force in growing the brand identity and driving engagement through the creation of compelling content for marketing and go-to-market campaigns. They develop data-driven content and campaign concepts for materials published across channels (web, email, social media, webinars, ads) and audiences (clients, recruiting, public). This role works across the organization to support copywriting and content creation needs for prioritized projects to ensure a consistent positive brand experience.
Major duties and responsibilities: Lead and execute research-based omnichannel brand and content projects for impactful campaigns and go-to-market initiatives that communicate key brand messages and drive conversion by:
- Identifying and understand current brand positioning and client insights
- Monitoring market trends and competitors' activities
- Working with subject matter experts and senior leadership to align brand objectives and messaging
- Helping shape and communicate key branding messages consistently across different audiences including corporate branding, employer branding, and corporate social responsibility
- Collaborating with marketing, communications, and design teams to develop concepts, styles, and necessary content to achieve campaign and branding objectives
- Creating compelling written content across channels and formats that motivates target audiences to act and drives them along the buyer journey
- Optimizing content according to SEO
- Working with digital marketing team to assess campaign metrics to report on successes and identify insights to inform future tactics
Serve as editor for marketing and go-to-market written copy to ensure quality, clarity and consistency by:
- Writing and edit concise, effective copy for landing pages, dedicated emails, and other external materials
- Editing, proofread, and optimize thought leadership and insights from subject matter experts and copywriters
- Liaising with internal and external content writers to ensure quality and brand consistency
Project and people management:
- Managing multiple ongoing projects by setting and constantly updating editorial calendar
- Ensuring efficient utilization of resources through strategic project prioritization
- Supervising and guide external copywriters
- Engage with external providers for timely delivery of quality materials
Requirements for this function - Bachelor's degree in relevant field with a preference for communication, journalism, literature, arts/humanities, or similar creative field
- Work experience: 5 years' experience in either communications, copywriting, branding, marketing, media, or related field
Knowledge / Technical Skills - Ability to analyze key information to share with a variety of
- Native English speaker / Fluent in English with strong writing skills
- Ability to write in different tones/styles
- Financial communications experience and basic understanding of financial concepts; ability to present complex information in easily readable style
Interpersonal skills - Tactical, diplomatic, able to effectively work and provide counsel to variety of stakeholders
- Able to juggle multiple challenging projects at once
- Ability to manage projects and work with different teams
- Confident, easy to get along with, comfortable being spokesperson,” giving presentations and speaking in front of large groups
- Comfortable working with senior management/executive leadership
