Data Privacy Analyst, Officer
Permanent Contract
Your Role We are looking for a Data Privacy analyst to join our Data Protection Office. You will act as a deputy for the Data Protection Officer and advise the business on data protection matters and ensure compliance with policies & procedures.
Your Team You will report directly to the Data Protection Officer (Europe) and be a critical member of the Privacy Office supporting the Luxembourg and Ireland organisations.
Your Responsibilities - Act as a deputy for the DPO and where required act as a point of contact with regulators and data subjects.
- Advise the business on data protection matters, completion of impact assessments and other privacy reviews, work in close collaboration with operations teams on privacy matters to ensure compliance with policies & procedures.
- Research, analysis and provide guidance to the business on regulatory changes to the regulatory landscape through external networking or industry events;
- Assist with data protection gap analysis, document the risks & track completion of remedial actions;
- Management of data breaches including escalations & working with the business on the investigation and remediation process;
- Log, review and timely response to data subject rights requests;
- Review & tracking of policies, procedures & job-aids. Maintenance of various Privacy Office trackers;
- Register of Processing Activities update & review;
- Management of Privacy Office mailbox including triage of incoming queries, prioritization & timely response;
- Data protection training, awareness & communications across the business. Manage the Data Protection Champions initiative through clinics and ongoing training;
- Assist in the preparation & coordination of Privacy Office reporting materials (Board, Business Risk Committee etc.) and update of internal DPO site with key policies, procedures & other relevant content;
- Provide support on audits & regulatory enquiries, Privacy Office monitoring reviews.
Your Profile - Data Protection qualification (CIPPE, CIPM, CDPO or other);
- 2-3 years of experience working in data protection or regulatory compliance fields, including privacy programs;
- Excellent knowledge of the GDPR, local data protection laws & regulations;
- Knowledge of Transfer Agency business & Investment Funds
- Strong gap identification and resolution skills with a focus on proactive work independently and within a team;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards, analytical, administrative and process thinking skills;
- Professional & diplomatic approach
- Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills (fluency in English required & French is desirable)
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
