About our client We are partnering with a leading global private equity investor that is looking to hire a Director of Fund Administration to its Luxembourg fund administration team. This will be a broad role working across the life of funds including the structuring of funds, regulatory and statutory reporting as well as direct interaction with stakeholders. This role will act as the key point of contact of the investment team leader and will be responsible for ensuring the success of all transactions.
What the job involves - Prepare accounting of funds and SPV for periodic reporting, calculate NAV
- Produce reporting and financial statements to investors
- Build and use monitoring tools for budgets, financial instruments
- Be the main point of contact of the funds' depositary
- Create and maintain funds' registers up to date, in line with legal documentation
- Responsible for the daily follow up of cash movements of funds and SPV
- Be the point of contact with the various service providers (auditors, lawyers, third party administrators, banks, tax experts) on their scope
Who we are looking for - The role requires both to be hands-on (i.e. delivering all on your own), and have the strategic thinking needed to challenge and improve processes to contribute to the funds growth
- Master or professional certification in finance / accounting with relevant experience in similar in house positions or within a corporate and fund services provider
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Prior experience or good understanding of private equity funds
- Good accounting skills
- Fluent in English (written and oral), knowledge of French
